Today showed once again the significance of problem motivated knowledge seeking, the method of trial and error, and plenty of repetition for effective learning. If they work for someone of my age, they should work for many others, too.

In this case the motivating “problem” or task is to build and refine web pages for myself, the way I would like them. Today I found (at least partial) solutions to several problems, such as how to change or make disappear the little yellow pop-up boxes that appear when you move a mouse over the page titles in a menu. I also worked out how to change the “front page”, so that it isn’t these blog posts that appear first to whomever visits my website, but the more informative “about” page.
