On these pages I will present some examples of the visual artwork I have produced during my life, to characterize my experiental relationship to visual culture and art. For me, painting, drawing and photographing have been ways to maintain the respective skills and the concrete, material connection to picture making. The relationship is also spiritual and philosophic: I come spiritually closer to whom/what I am observing during the process of making an image of her/him/It.

As an art teacher educator I think that it is not just theory of teaching but also the continuous material, bodily work within their substance area that is essential for art teachers and art teacher educators. My own artistic practice helps me understand the significance of art and image making to my art education students or anybody deeply motivated by such activities.
