Street art in Chile and Finland – Art educational implications.

I am undertaking a comparative study of street art in Chile and in Finland as a cultural phenomenon, and the forms and significance of art education respectively, to uncover possible connections between these two cultural activities. In other words, I’m studying street art, more specifically it’s visual forms such as graffiti, in the two different cultures in relation to art education in them, and to art educational thinking in general.

Arte callejero en Chile y Finlandia – Implicaciones artístico-educativas.

Estoy llevando a cabo un estudio comparativo de arte callejero en Chile y en Finlandia como un fenómeno cultural, y las formas y el significado de la educación artística, respectivamente, a fin de esclarecer las posibles conexiones entre estas dos actividades culturales. En otras palabras, estoy estudiando el arte de la calle, más concretamente, sus formas visuales, tales como grafiti, en las dos culturas diferentes en relación a la educación artística en ellos, y en relación al arte educacional pensando en general.
